Abstract
The Syrian crisis, which started with the popular uprisings in Syria in 2011 and then had a global impact, caused a large-scale migration wave, mostly women and children. The refugee population caused by this crisis has resulted in an international refugee crisis, which is expressed in the highest numbers since the Second World War. In this axis, Turkey is the country that hosts the highest Syrian population among all countries. For this reason, specialized United Nations organizations carry out extensive studies with public and civil society collaborations throughout Turkey. In this qualitative study, the way in which issues related to Syrian women are handled in the United Nations reporting is examined from a gender perspective by content analysis. The United Nations' reports covering Syrians in Turkey were included in the content of the analysis. As a result of the study, projects for Syrian women focused on social assistance and vocational skills training; It has been observed that there are deficiencies in the social integration process in the context of rights-based practices. In addition, it has been determined that there are very limited research and activity reports that comprehensively address the situation of Syrian women in Turkey from a gender perspective.
