Everywhere, an individual is expected to behave appropriately in line with their gender. In this context, gender roles become a situation that affects the self and mind of the person. From past to present, the concept of femininity and masculinity, the images of both sexes, the characteristics defined for them, the status, the division of labor between the sexes have always been encountered throughout history. Gender identities and the formation processes of these identities, how the relations between the sexes are organized, family types, kinship relations, attitudes and behaviors of the sexes towards each other, sexual morality, many writers and artists are involved in the social psychology of the individual who processes women who are put in the background and marginalized in their works and who create themselves with their art. mentioned in his work. Storytelling, which has its roots in storytelling and is one of the oldest ways of transferring knowledge, also has an essential place in the artist's self-expression. In this dissertation titled “Pictorial Narratives About Women”, the roles imposed on women show how women are expressed in art, identity, social role, social interaction, gender, and socialization. At the same time, the positioning of women and women artists in society has been critically discussed by giving place to the artists who have produced works on this subject. | dc.description.ozet | Toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri, kişi doğduğu andan itibaren başlayarak tıpkı bir kodlama gibi kişiye yüklenmeye başlar. Her yerde bireyden cinsiyeti doğrultusunda uygun davranışlar sergilemesi beklenir. Bu bağlamda cinsiyet rolleri kişinin benliğini ve zihnini etkileyen bir duruma dönüşür. Geçmişten günümüze kadınlık ve erkeklik kavramına, her iki cinse ait imajlara, onlara tanımlanan özelliklere, statülere, cinsler arası iş bölümüne tarih boyunca hep rastlanmıştır. Cinsiyet kimlikleri ile bu kimliklerin oluşumu, cinsler arası ilişkilerin düzenlenme şekilleri, aile türleri, akrabalık ilişkileri, cinslerin birbirine karşı davranış ve tutumları, cinsel ahlak, ikinci plana atılan, ötekileştirilen kadınları çalışmalarında işleyen ve kendini sanatıyla var eden bireyin sosyal psikolojisine birçok yazar ve sanatçı eserinde değinmiştir. “Kadına Dair Resimsel Öykülemeler” adlı bu tez çalışmasında kadına dayatılan rollerden, kadının sanatta ve sanatında nasıl ifade ettiğine; kimlik, sosyal rol, toplumsal etkileşim, toplumsal cinsiyet, toplumsallaşması kapsamında yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca bu konuda eserler üreten sanatçılara yer verilerek kadının ve kadın sanatçıların toplumda konumlandırılışı eleştirel bir şekilde ele alınmıştır. Beraberinde gerçekleştirilen kişisel ve özgün çalışmalarda teknik, içerik, konu olarak kadının sanatta var olma çabası ve sosyo-psikolojik durumu öyküleme yapılarak ortaya konulmuş ve yorumlanmıştır. | tr_TR |
