In this thesis, which deals with the causes and consequences that trigger the masculinity crisis, the divorce was studied, the life stories of males with children were listened to get ideas about habitus structuring, and a general framework on the 'masculinity crisis' was tried to be presented. In this context, with a (pro) feminist position in the light of "gender" and "critical masculinity studies" literature; The traces of the "crisis" experienced by men because they were "men" were tried to be traced. In the modernization process, the male-dominated structure of the gender order is eroding and patriarchal masculinity is becoming a "non-adaptable" configuration. Within the scope of this study, the road map of the 'masculinity crisis' experienced by the men who is the ‘father' during the marriage and after the divorce; It was tried to be interpreted in order to create a "sociological imagination" in an analytical plane. In this study of masculinity in Turkey, which destroyed the patriarchal gender order where the dominant masculinity, but also not installed a new system of 'interregnum' is assumed to be in.
