Abstract

Due to uprising energy needs, alternative energy resources are speeding up their developments all over the world including Turkey. Geothermal energy has a big potential as one of the alternavite energies that gives renewable, sustainable and environmental friendly energy in Turkey. Using the advantages of that energy needs qualified ground source heat pumps to reach maximum efficiency with his low cost maintenance and comfort. Ground source heat pump must be investigated and determined to understand how high is the applicability of the potential in Turkey.
