Abstract

In this study, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method used in assessing theactivities of the decision making units when there is too much input and output hasbeen examined. The aim in the data envelopment analysis (DEA) is to find out theinput-output combination generating the maximum output with a minimum input.The thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter the basic concepts of dataenvelopment analysis used have been defined. In the second chapter DEA method,application areas of DEA, Pros and Cons, Application Phases, Classical DEA modelshave been mentioned. In the third chapter application and in the last chapter resultsare included.
