Otofajinin Insan Servikal Örneklerde Sitolojik ve İmmünositokimyasal Yöntemlerle Saptanması
Özet
Autophagy is a mechanism which provides recycling of the cytoplasmic components such as long-lived proteins and organelles in the cell by being degraded in lysosomes. The aim of our study is determining of the autophagy by using cytological and immunocytochemical methods in cervicovaginal smears that has not been examined before. For this study, cervicovaginal smears of 200 cases stained by Papanicolaou method were initially examined for cytological findings and the cases including malignant, infection and atypical cellular changes were determined. For the immunocytochemical method, cervicovaginal smears were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and autophagy positivity was examined by using policlonal rabbit MAP1LC3A (Microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 A izotype) antibody and autophagy positivity was evaluated as a diffuse cytoplasmic staining.
