Nallıhan Kuş Cennetinde Koloni Halinde Üreyen Su Kuşları Üzerine Biyo-Ekolojik Araştırmalar
Özet
In this study, inhabitancy periods (arrival and departure times), population sizes and growth characteristics (nest, egg, clutch size, hatching and feathering success) of waterbird species breeding as colonies in Nallıhan Bird Sanctuary were investigated between March 2011 and December 2013. Additionally, these waterbirds habitat dynamics (water regime and vegetation) of mixed colonial breeding areas, structure and function of breeding colony, the nest site preferences of the species in the colonies and the factors that influence (inter and intra specific competition, predation, anthropogenic effects) breeding colonies were studied.According to the results, 4 different species; (cormorant: Phalacrocorax carbo, grey heron: Ardea cinera, little egret: Egrette garzetta ve night heron: Nycticorax nycticorax) of waterbird breed in colonies regularly ever year in poplar (Populus spp) and willow (Salix spp) trees in March-August period.
