The love between mankind and animals is both complex and variable dating back to prehistoric times. We have been sharing the globe with them for ages and most frequently in order to meet our demands we usually intervene in their lives. Undoubtedly, this relation has become confusingly complex as mankind intends to become the sole proprietor of the earth. The relation between mankind and the environment has manifested itself in arts since ages ago. The needs and demands of man has been expressed in arts through time. Works of art, bearing different symbols and manifesting writing and ornament, have been at times a means of those in power and sometimes a vehicle to express the communal demands. Art is the common language for mankind, and since man is not alone in this world, other creatures are also present in his anecdotes of life. Among these creatures, animals are ever-present entities in arts. In this thesis, animals, as a pleasure source in art, and the relation between them and mankind has been explored. It is based on the new relationships and novel compositions between man and animals. The art pieces have created the new relations between man and animals through patterns, patches, color and style and other notions in art. This relation and its transformation to art is one of the objectives of this thesis.
