Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is one of the most common vaginal infectious in woman on fertil period. It is known that Gardnerella vaginalis, Mobiluncus spp., Bacteroides spp., Mycoplasma hominis cause BV. Milky discharge, fishy odor and being vaginal pH higher than ph 5 are the important clinical symptoms of bacterial vaginosis. In smears which is prepared according to Papanicolaou method, appearenge of the known as clue cell epithelial cell covered with bacteria is important criteria of BV. In this study, our aim is to determine which structures were roled bacteria-epithelial cell interaction in BV.Details of clue cell detected in high magnification. In these examination epitelial cell and bacterial interaction, pili mediated interaction, biofilm, epitelial cell and bacterial surface feature were semtinized in detail.
