In populations of family life cycle where families with young children and preschool children exist, it is known that parents face problems due to gender roles at the point of fulfilling child care and household choresand these problems affect families at both micro and macro levels. Considering from this point of view, the present study was planned and conducted for the purpose of developing a family life education program to solve gender-based problems faced by families with children aged 0-6 years.
In the study, descriptive and experimental methods were used collectively. In the descriptive dimension, “Attitude Scale on Gender Roles of Parents with 0-6 Year Old Children” was developed to determine the attitudes of parents with children aged 0-6 years toward fulfilling household chores and child care activities and “Domestic Role and Responsibility Sharing of Parents with Children Aged 0-6 Years Scale” was developed to determine domestic responsibility sharing.
In the experimental dimension of the study, “Family Life Education Program for the Solution of Gender-Related Problems of Families with Children Aged 0-6 Years” was developed to raise awareness in parents with children aged 0-6 years regarding their gender-related problems, increase their knowledge level to cope with problems and create a change of attitudes and behaviors. In the study, “Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design” was used. Experimental (8 mothers-8 fathers) and control (8 mothers-8 fathers) groups with 16 parents were created. Prior to starting the Family Life Education Program, the pretest was applied to the experimental and control group and then the experimental group received a 7-week training. Following the training, the posttest was applied to both groups. Effectiveness of the experimental procedure was tested via two-factor ANOVA test. Examining the data related to the experimental dimension of the study which tested the effectiveness of the experimental procedure, it was concluded that Family Life Education Program for the Solution of Gender-Related Problems of Families with Children Aged 0-6 Years which was prepared within the scope of the study had an impact on the attitudes of the experimental group parents toward gender roles and their domestic responsibility sharing.
The findings acquired were discussed within the frame of the relevant literature and recommendations were made for parents and families with children aged 0-6 years, as well as institutions and organizations serving families, units developing social policies and researchers.

This research was planned and conducted to determine the relationship between parental
attitudes and behavior and the family's ability to adapt to unity and change, and to
examine the effects of socioeconomic and demographic factors on family functioning,
attitudes and behaviors. Within the scope of the research, 450 families living together and
having at least one healthy child in the 0-6 age group selected by stratified sampling
method from the central districts of Ankara were included. Research data; Parental
Attitude scale to determine the attitudes and behaviors of parents as parents, Family
Adaptability and Cohesion Scale IV to determine the functionality of family relations,
and socioeconomic and demographic information about families were collected through
a questionnaire. Data obtained from families were analyzed using SPSS 26 and R
program. As a result of the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test applied to determine the normality
distribution in the analysis of the data, it was determined that the data were not normally
distributed. Therefore, from non-parametric tests; Mann–Whitney U test was used for
bivariate tests, Kruskal-Wallis Test for analysis of dependent and independent variables,
Friedman test for two dependent variables, and Chi-square analysis for variable
determination. As a result of the research, it was found that as the socioeconomic level of
the district of residence increases, parents have a liberal parental attitude, as the age of
the father increases, negligent and authoritarian parental attitudes, and those with a large
number of children and young children have an overprotective parental attitude (p<0,05).
It has been determined that as the socioeconomic level of the residential district increases,
the unity in family functions and the ability to adapt to change are chaotic, and they show
a balanced adaptation with the increase in the total income of the household. It has been
observed that there is a statistically significant relationship between the unity in family
functions and the ability to adapt to change and the level of perceived income (p<0,05).
It has been determined that there is a balanced unity in the realization of family functions
in families with a democratic parental attitude, and a balanced flexible family unity and
harmony in families with an authoritarian parental attitude. It has been determined that
there is a statistically significant relationship between parental attitudes and family unity
in terms of family functions and the ability to adapt to change (p<0,05).

Consumption is defined as an action for the satisfaction of material and spiritual needs
or desires from a good or service, and it is a continuous process that is at the center of
individuals' lives. While individuals make consumption preferences by taking into
account and comparing various environmental, personal and sociological factors, the
level of consciousness also has an important effect when making these choices. The
preferences of individuals for passenger cars also constitute an important part of
consumption, and many economic and environmental factors can be taken into
account in the choice. On the other hand, being aware of legal rights is also an
important element. For this reason, there has been a need to conduct study on which
factors consumers consider when choosing a passenger car, and how the level of
consumer awareness affects this choice.
In this research, it is aimed to determine the effect of consumers' awareness levels on
their passenger car purchasing behavior and in line with this purpose; It is required to
be 18 years or older and have experience in purchasing a car. In the research, snowball
sampling method was used through Google forms, and data were collected through an
online survey.
According to the results of the statistical analysis; It has been concluded that while
individuals prefer vehicles, they prioritize economic factors over environmental
factors. So, an important findings revealed within the scope of the study; Nearly half
of the consumers drive vehicles with diesel fuel, which is known to be more harmful
to the environment, but is relatively economical. Moreover, consumers prefer manual
transmission vehicles more than automatic transmission vehicles. According to
another result, the priority is toward to electric and hybrid vehicles among vehicles
with the same features, equipment and similar prices. In the study, there is a significant
relationship between the the environmental conscious consumption scores of the
consumers and “The situation of paying attention to the fact that the car to be
viii
purchased has features such as fuel, emissions, noise, etc. that cause less harm and
discomfort to the environment” and “priority preference in terms of fuel type between
vehicles with the same features and equipment and similar prices”. There is also a
significant relationship between consumers' simple consumption scores and their
passanger car buying behavior to gain social status and admiration.
